NDAA Amendment Would Let Soldiers Use Cannabis Derivatives Like CBD

The U.S. House of Representatives approved multiple amendments to the National Defense Authorization Act including one that would allow members of the Armed Fores to use CBD and other hemp derived products.

The amendment specifies “The Secretary of Defense may not prohibit, on the basis of a product containing hemp or any ingredient derived from hemp, the possession, use, or consumption of such product by a member of the Armed Forces.”
